Welcome!

Starting something new is exciting, and sometimes overwhelming. We hope this guide helps you feel comfortable and prepared to visit our studio. Whether you are new to movement classes, or just new to us, we have something for everybody.

What to Expect

Arrive Early. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. This gives you time to check in, fill out a waiver, and get familiar with the space.

Dress Comfortably. Wear lightweight clothes you can move in. Many of our classes are warm to hot (check the schedule for class temps). You’ll probably sweat a little—and that’s a good thing.

Shoes Off. Leave your shoes in the breezeway before entering the studio space. (We’ve got cubbies inside too.)

Scent-Free Space. Please come clean, and avoid heavy perfumes or scented products to respect the shared space.

What to Bring

  • A yoga mat (or rent one at the studio for $5)

  • A full water bottle (we have a filtered refill station)

  • A towel if you tend to sweat

  • An open mind

What We Provide

  • Mat + towel rentals

  • Complimentary hand towels (when available)

  • Changing rooms

  • Bathroom + shower

Studio Truckee uses infrared heaters to make our studio anywhere from cozy and warm to nice and hot.

Class heat levels are indicated on the schedule.

  • Warm: 80–90°F

  • Heated: 95–100°F

  • Hot: 100–105°F

  • Not listed: expect a cozy room-temperature experience of between 70-80°F
